1. Bärmesenser Päädellauf

Immerse yourself in the enchanting trails of Pirmasens for an unforgettable running experience at the Bärmesenser Päädellauf. This unique race starts and finishes within the mystical "Mordloch" forest gully, offering a blend of challenging terrain and breathtaking scenery.
The main event features a single-track trail course that winds through dense forests, alongside historical trails like the Pfälzer Jakobsweg and sections of the Premium Felsenwanderweg. Participants will face varied terrains, including rocky paths and steep ascents, all while enjoying stunning views of nature's beauty. The race is designed to be challenging yet accessible for runners aged 16 and up.
In addition to the main event, there are several other races tailored specifically for young participants:
- A fun Bambini run for children as young as two years old.
- An adventurous 2km Youth Race for kids between ages eight and thirteen.
- A mini-Päädellauf of 5 kilometers suitable for runners aged ten and older.
The event day begins at 10:00 AM with a welcoming ceremony. The Bambini run starts promptly at 10:15 AM, followed by the Youth Race at 10:30 AM and several other races starting at 11:00 AM including the main Päädellauf.
Following each race, there are award ceremonies to celebrate top finishers across various age categories. The event also includes special prizes for teams and clubs with the most entries overall, adding an element of friendly competition among participants.
Participants can look forward to a well-organized registration process at PSV Stadium in Mordloch, where start numbers will be distributed. Early sign-ups are recommended due to limited parking around the venue and race capacity constraints. Online registration is available through Raceresult until the day before the event; walk-in registrations on the day of the race incur a small additional fee.
The Bärmesenser Päädellauf offers more than just competition, with post-race entertainment for children and exciting prize giveaways like high-quality running shoes sponsored by Handelsagentur Martin Hentsch.
