The event offers two distance options: an ultra-distance of 45.6 kilometers (completed in four laps) or a half marathon covering 22.8 kilometers (two laps). Both routes wind through the Burgenpatt hiking trail and incorporate a loop around Burg Vischering, offering runners stunning views and rich historical context.

The route is not fully marked, so it's essential for runners to download the provided track files in advance to stay on course.
