10. Gifhorner Friedhofslauf

Join us for the 10th annual Gifhorner Cemetery Run, taking place on Friday, August 7th at 5:30 PM. This year's event offers runners two distance options—4 kilometers and 8 kilometers—to choose from as they navigate through scenic routes around the cemetery and beyond to Neubokel.
The evening race promises a relaxed atmosphere with participants finishing in time for an enjoyable communal barbecue, fostering a sense of community among runners and spectators alike. Entry fees are just €4 per person and must be paid upon collection of your starting number at the event venue.
After crossing the finish line, runners will have the opportunity to contribute to a donation box supporting the Gifhorner Cemetery Mobile Service—a free transportation service for seniors in the areas of Gamsen, Gifhorn, Triangel, and Neudorf-Platendorf. Each runner who completes their chosen distance will receive a commemorative medal.
With only 60 starting spots available, early registration is recommended to secure your place at this unique event celebrating community spirit and fitness in the beautiful surroundings of the cemetery grounds. Finishers can collect their certificates online following the race date.
