About the Event

The 10 km University Laval race is the second oldest running competition organized annually in Quebec and the longest-standing sporting event at Université Laval. Known for attracting fast runners year after year, this race offers an exceptional opportunity to push your limits on a challenging yet rewarding course.
Whether you are just starting out or have years of experience under your belt, there’s something here for every level of runner. The event features distances ranging from 800 meters and 1.5 kilometers for younger participants up to the full 10 km race for more seasoned athletes. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in specific age categories: 8 years old and under for the 800-meter run, and 12 years old and under for the 1.5-kilometer event.
Organized by Rouge et Or Athletics in collaboration with Groupe Défis, this race aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle within the community. Participants can look forward to an energizing atmosphere that supports personal achievement as well as friendly competition among runners of all ages and abilities. Join us on September 19, 2027 for a day filled with inspiring runs and memorable moments.
