On October 11, 2026, the vibrant city of São Paulo will host "Movimente-se pela Prevenção do Câncer de Mama," an inspiring gathering that brings together hundreds of individuals to promote physical activity and raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. The event starts at 8:30 AM with participants assembling in Praça Mal. Cordeiro de Farias, located at the intersection of Avenida Paulista and Avenida Angélica.
The race features a unique 4.5-kilometer course that winds through some of São Paulo's most iconic streets. Participants will begin their journey from the bustling square before heading down Avenida Paulista, one of Brazil’s premier avenues lined with cultural institutions and high-rise buildings. The route then takes a turn onto Brigadeiro Luiz Antonio for a brief loop back to the starting point.
Organized by Instituto Quimioterapia e Beleza (IQ&B), an esteemed non-profit organization dedicated to social assistance, health promotion, and volunteer work, this event aims to support individuals facing cancer diagnoses and treatments. IQ&B provides crucial information on health prevention, beauty tips, self-esteem enhancement, and overall well-being.
Registration is available exclusively through the official platform until October 10th at midnight, with options for payment via PIX or credit card installments. Participants will receive a kit including a t-shirt, bandana, and bag upon registration. Special rates are offered to cancer patients and people with disabilities (PCD), as well as individuals aged 60 years and older.
