10TH ANNUAL 5K9 – Glow Walk Run !!

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the vibrant community of Grove City will come alive for the highly anticipated 10th Annual 5K9 Glow Run. This year's edition promises to be an unforgettable experience under the night sky as participants don neon colors and glow sticks in a spectacular display of light and camaraderie.
The event kicks off at 8:30 PM with registration beginning at 8 PM, giving runners ample time to soak up the festive atmosphere before setting out from the Beulah Park Arch. Sunny 95/96.3 will be broadcasting live on-site, adding an extra layer of excitement and community spirit.
Dogs are welcome and encouraged to join their human companions in this luminous journey through Grove City's Town Center. Water stations for both runners and dogs will be strategically placed along the route, ensuring that everyone stays hydrated throughout the two-hour event window until 10 PM. The dog park nearby offers a safe space where pets can socialize before or after the run.
Participants are invited to sign up for specific time slots during online registration to help manage crowd flow smoothly. If you miss your designated start time, simply wait at Breck Park and join in when it's convenient.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Friends of the Franklin County Dog Shelter, a volunteer-led non-profit organization dedicated to providing medical care for sick or injured shelter dogs. To support their efforts, participants are encouraged to make donations via cash or gift cards during registration or at designated collection points throughout the run. These contributions directly fund critical services such as surgeries and rehabilitation treatments.
As an added bonus, the first 200 registrants will receive a commemorative T-shirt celebrating this milestone event. Over the years, the 5K9 has not only raised significant funds but also fostered a strong sense of community among dog lovers and runners alike. In 2025 alone, more than 730 people participated alongside their furry friends, collectively generating an estimated $18,781 in donations.
