The 10th Annual Portland Waterfront 5K invites runners to experience the scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere of Portland's waterfront. Set to start at 9:30 AM, registration begins an hour earlier at Flat Bread Pizza on Commercial Street. This year’s race promises a course that winds along the picturesque Portland Trails near Commercial Street, offering breathtaking views of Casco Bay as participants make their way through historic neighborhoods and bustling commercial areas. The event concludes right where it began—at the charming Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal—providing runners with an iconic finish line. Awards will be given to top male and female overall winners, along with first-place awards in each age group: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and even an impressive category for those aged 80 to 99. Families can also compete for top honors in the Family Team Awards with a minimum of two runners. Participants will have access to detailed course maps and a captivating 3D flyover video that showcases every twist and turn along the route. The race is managed by 5K Sports Race Management, ensuring a smooth and well-organized event experience from start to finish. While there are no refunds for cancellations due to weather or other uncontrollable circumstances, runners can rest assured knowing their entry fees will be waived at checkout.
