Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate cyclists aged 10-16 years old. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering young riders the opportunity to enhance their skills and enjoy a fun-filled morning on two wheels. The first hour promises high-energy cycling as participants navigate through various drills and challenges tailored to improve speed, agility, and technique. A short break around noon allows everyone to rest and refuel with snacks and drinks they've brought along. While this session is primarily aimed at intermediate riders between 10-16 years old, younger cyclists are welcome too, provided their skill level meets the requirements for a safe and enjoyable experience. We recommend contacting us beforehand if you're unsure about your child's readiness to participate. Booking in advance is an option but not mandatory; those who prefer can simply turn up on the day and pay upon arrival. Our online booking system remains open until 10pm on Friday nights, allowing for last-minute registrations before we finalize participant lists for the event. When registering, please ensure you use your child's name rather than yours to avoid any confusion at check-in. Additionally, if your child is a member of HHYCC (Hilly Hills Youth Cycling Club), they will receive a £2 discount on their entry fee as part of our membership benefits program. Our club relies heavily on the support and dedication of its volunteers who help with registration duties, bike maintenance, and coaching sessions throughout the year. If you're interested in contributing to any of these essential roles, we encourage you to reach out for more information about how you can get involved. All volunteer positions operate on a rotating schedule to accommodate various schedules. Bring your enthusiasm, wear comfortable cycling gear, and prepare for an engaging day filled with learning and fun at the Hilly Hills Youth Cycling Club.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
