Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cycling enthusiasts aged 10-16 years old. This fun-filled morning runs from 11am to 1pm, offering intermediate-level riders the chance to improve their skills and enjoy a day filled with energy and camaraderie. The first hour is packed with dynamic activities that challenge participants while keeping them engaged and motivated. A brief break around noon allows everyone to recharge with a drink or snack before diving back into more cycling fun for another hour of exciting rides. While we welcome younger riders who show high proficiency, please reach out if you're unsure about their skill level. To make participation easy, both pre-booking online and day-of payment are accepted options. However, booking ahead ensures your spot is secure; our system closes at 10pm on the preceding Friday to prepare for the following weekend. When registering, be sure to use each child's name rather than a parent or guardian’s. Additionally, if your child is already part of HHYCC as a member, you'll receive a £2 discount when booking through this platform. Our club relies heavily on volunteers who contribute in various capacities such as helping at the registration desk, assisting with bike maintenance, and providing coaching support. If you're interested in getting involved or know someone else who might be willing to help out, we'd love to hear from you. All volunteer roles operate on a rotational basis. Come join us for an afternoon of cycling fun that will keep young riders excited about the sport!

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
