Join us for an exciting Saturday cycling session designed specifically for young riders aged 10-16 who are looking to improve their skills and enjoy the thrill of riding together. Younger cyclists with advanced abilities may also participate after we assess their skill level. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering a dynamic mix of high-energy cycling in the first hour followed by a brief break around noon for refreshments. Participants are encouraged to bring along a drink and snack to keep energy levels up throughout the session. Registration is easy; you can either turn up on the day or book online ahead of time. Online bookings close at 10pm on Friday nights, allowing us to prepare lists for the following Saturday’s activities. When booking, please use your child's name rather than yours and mention if they are a member of HHYCC to receive a £2 discount. Our club is built around community involvement, so we welcome anyone interested in volunteering their time to support our register, bike maintenance, or coaching teams. These roles operate on a rotating basis, ensuring everyone gets the chance to contribute and learn. Experience an engaging day filled with fun activities that cater to young cyclists eager to enhance their cycling skills and connect with fellow riders of similar age and ability levels. This event promises not only development in cycling proficiency but also fosters camaraderie among participants. It's a perfect opportunity for kids to enjoy the outdoors, challenge themselves on the bike trails, and make new friends while doing so.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
