Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cycling enthusiasts aged 10-16 years old. This two-hour event, running from 11am to 1pm, offers intermediate-level riders the chance to enhance their skills and enjoy a fun-filled morning on the bike. The first hour is packed with energy as participants tackle various challenges tailored to improve their riding techniques. A brief break at noon provides an opportunity for everyone to relax, hydrate, and refuel before diving back into action. We encourage all attendees to bring along a drink and a snack to keep up their stamina throughout the session. While drop-in payments are accepted on the day of the event, booking in advance helps us organize smoothly and ensures your child's spot is reserved. Online bookings close at 10pm on Fridays so we can prepare for the following Saturday with accurate participant lists. When registering, please use your child’s name instead of yours to ensure proper identification. If you are a member of HHYCC (Hillside Happy Young Cyclists Club), remember that there is a £2 discount available when booking through our online system. Our club relies heavily on volunteers who contribute their time and skills in various roles such as registration, bike maintenance, or coaching. If you're interested in getting involved, we would love to hear from you! Whether your child is looking to sharpen their cycling abilities or simply have a great day out with fellow enthusiasts, this session promises an engaging and supportive environment for all participants. Please note that the event takes place on February 13, 2027.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
