Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for young cycling enthusiasts aged 10-16 years old. While younger riders are welcome, we kindly request that their skill level be assessed beforehand to ensure everyone can participate safely and enjoyably. The event kicks off at 11am with a high-energy first hour filled with dynamic activities tailored to intermediate cyclists. A brief break around midday gives participants the opportunity to refuel with a drink or snack before continuing into the afternoon session until 1pm. Participants are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and can either pre-register online for convenience or simply turn up on the day to pay at our registration desk. Online bookings close by 10pm on Friday nights, allowing us to prepare lists in advance for a smoother event experience. When booking, please use your child's name rather than yours to ensure accurate record-keeping and discounts can be applied if they are members of HHYCC (£2 off the regular price). Our club relies heavily on volunteers from our community. If you're interested in contributing by assisting with registration duties, bike maintenance, or coaching sessions, we would love to hear from you. All volunteer positions operate on a rotating schedule, making it easy for everyone to get involved and support young cyclists. This event promises an engaging day of cycling fun and skill-building opportunities amidst like-minded peers and dedicated mentors. Join us on April 24, 2027, for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
