Join us for an exciting Saturday session designed specifically for intermediate cyclists aged 10-16 years old. The event kicks off at 11am and runs until 1pm, offering young riders the opportunity to improve their skills while having fun on the bike. The morning is packed with energetic cycling activities that are sure to keep participants engaged and challenged throughout the first hour. Around noon, we take a short break for refreshments before diving back into more riding sessions. Participants are encouraged to bring along drinks and snacks to ensure they stay hydrated and energized during their active day. While drop-in attendance is possible on the day of the event, booking in advance helps us prepare better for everyone's arrival. Online registration closes at 10pm on Friday nights so we can finalize our participant lists for Saturday. When you register, please use your child’s name rather than yours to ensure accurate record-keeping. Members of HHYCC enjoy a special discount of £2 off the booking fee when they sign up for this session online or in person at the event itself. Our club relies heavily on volunteers who contribute their time and skills across various roles such as registration, bike maintenance, and coaching. If you're interested in getting involved to support these teams, we'd love to hear from you! All volunteer positions are managed through a rotating schedule, making it easy for everyone to participate according to their availability. We look forward to seeing young cyclists ready to ride and learn together on September 5, 2026.

About Southwark
Learn more about the host city, Southwark.
Southwark is a district of Central London situated on the south bank of the River Thames, forming the north-western part of the wider modern London Borough of Southwark. The district, which is the oldest part of South London, developed due to its position at the southern end of the early versions of London Bridge, for centuries the only dry crossing on the river. Around 43 AD, engineers of the Roman Empire found the geographic features of the south bank here suitable for the placement and construction of the first bridge.
