13th Annual Harry Elkes Ride

Discover the scenic beauty and rich history of Glens Falls by joining our cycling celebration honoring local hero Harry Elkes, a renowned 1900s bicyclist. Gather at The Hub for an unforgettable day filled with diverse routes tailored to all skill levels.
Choose from four exciting rides:
- A challenging 50-mile road ride
- An invigorating 32-mile scenic route
- A moderately paced 15-mile tour
- Or, if you're seeking a unique experience, our adventurous 18-mile gravel path
Upon arrival at The Hub, head to the registration table. Complete your release form and receive a complimentary copy of the map or cue sheet for your chosen ride. Be among the first hundred riders to claim a free t-shirt.
Set off on your selected route with support available from early morning onwards. Our 50-mile and 32-mile routes will take you through picturesque North Country roads, while the shorter distances offer beautiful lake views and gentle terrain perfect for beginners or those seeking a leisurely ride.
After completing your journey, return to The Hub where refreshments await. Enjoy food and beverages at our on-site café, mingle with fellow cyclists, and watch an engaging video showcasing Harry Elkes' world-class racing career from the early 1900s.
