About the Event

On December 12, 2026, the Corrida 5K – Recife will take place along Rua da Aurora in Recife, Pernambuco. The race starts at 5 PM near the entrance of Ginásio Pernambucano and features a competitive route with distances for all levels: a full 7km run, a more relaxed 5km option, and a family-friendly 3km walk.
Participants must collect their kits in advance, preferably by the registered athlete themselves. Those aged over 60 are required to pick up their kit personally. At registration, attendees will need to bring one kilogram of non-perishable food as part of their entry fee along with proof of purchase and a convenience charge through Ticket Sports.
The race offers official merchandise including a commemorative t-shirt, bib number, timing chip for accurate results, and a medal upon completion. The event is designed not only for serious runners but also for casual participants who want to enjoy the festive atmosphere and scenic surroundings of Recife.
Registration fees vary based on early sign-ups: R$129.99 in the first phase until August 15th, then increasing to R$149.99 from September 16th through October 26th, with a final price of R$169.99 for those who register between October 17th and December 8th.
Runners will experience the vibrant energy along Rua da Aurora as they navigate this picturesque route in one of Brazil's most historic cities.
