The main race features a competitive team challenge alongside individual achievements over an 8-kilometer course, marked in red loops around the town center. Teams consist of three runners who can mix genders without age restrictions. Each participant will also be individually ranked according to their performance within specific age groups ranging from young adults born between 2007 and 1956 or older. For younger participants, there are specialized races designed for different age categories: - The Perzi-Bambini-Lauf is tailored for children aged four years old and under (born in 2021 and later). This non-competitive event encourages kids to enjoy running alongside a parent without the pressure of competition. - Two separate Kinderlauf events cater to older children, with races covering two blue loops totaling 800 meters each. These are divided into classes for those born between 2017 and 2020. - The Schülerlauf offers students from various age groups (Jahrgang 2013–2016) a chance to compete over four red loops, covering nearly three kilometers. All races commence on Sunday, September 20th with staggered start times to ensure a smooth flow of events throughout the day: - The Perzi-Bambini-Lauf kicks off promptly at 13:30. - Followed by two Kinderlauf sessions starting at 13:45 and 14:00 respectively. - Students have their turn with the Schülerlauf beginning at 14:30, followed closely by the Inklusiver Hobbylauf and Nordic Walking event which starts at 15:00. - The main race culminates in a thrilling finale when runners take to the course for an 8-kilometer challenge starting exactly at 15:30. All finishers will be celebrated with medals upon crossing the line, while prizes are awarded based on performance within age categories.
