16a CURSA TRAIL LA RIERA DE GAIÀ - 2026

The Day of the Race sees runners and walkers gather for an exhilarating trail experience along the banks of Riera. This annual event offers three distinct options: a long course, an express route, and a leisurely walking trail. Participants are encouraged to collect their race numbers at the Casal Riaren on Friday from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM or Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM if they have not already done so.
Race day itself starts early with registration available between 7:10 AM and 8:20 AM at the same venue. The long course kicks off promptly at 8:30 AM, followed closely by the express route beginning at 8:45 AM, and finally, a walking trail setting out at 8:50 AM.
For those who are not affiliated with any running federation, there is an additional $4 fee to cover accident insurance for race day. This includes access to all avitailment stations along the course as well as at the finish line, where participants will be greeted by a sweet spread featuring local treats from Forn de Ca la Feliça.
Each participant receives personalized gear including a long-sleeved t-shirt and an official race bag filled with locally sourced products. The event also features online ranking lists, a clothing storage service, and complimentary shuttle services to both the sports field and municipal swimming pool for those who wish to extend their day’s activities beyond running.
Photographers capture moments throughout the course which will be shared on social media platforms, adding an extra layer of excitement for participants eager to share their achievements. Additionally, all registered individuals have a chance to win prizes from local sponsors through various draw events held during and after the race.
