Welcome to the 17th edition of the Nieder Kids Triathlon, "TriKids," an annual celebration of youth athletics that takes place at and around the Vereinsbad of Höchster Schwimmverein von 1893 e.V. This event is designed for young athletes who are eager to compete in a fun-filled triathlon. The swimming leg of the race begins within the picturesque outdoor pool facility, offering participants a refreshing start as they navigate through clear waters under the watchful eye of experienced coaches and officials. After exiting the water, competitors transition onto their bikes where they will pedal along scenic routes that traverse the Sossenheimer Unterfeld and follow paths alongside the Nidda River. The cycling portion showcases beautiful landscapes with views of rolling fields and lush greenery, providing a unique challenge as young athletes navigate through varied terrain on two wheels. Once back at the Vereinsbad, participants lace up their running shoes for the final leg—a flat course that winds around the grounds before leading directly to the finish line. Throughout the event, families can enjoy extensive catering services provided by the club, ensuring everyone stays fueled and happy during this day of athletic excitement. Additionally, this year's program includes a Swim&Run competition specifically tailored for students in grade D (born 2019/2020), offering them an opportunity to showcase their skills without the cycling component. For the second consecutive year, we are also hosting a full triathlon event designed for older youth participants from grades B (born 2011/2012). These events cater to different age groups and skill levels, making sure that every young athlete has an opportunity to participate in a race tailored just for them. As always, the Nieder Kids Triathlon welcomes children with disabilities. To address any specific support requirements ahead of registration, please contact info@vft-hoesv.de directly. When registering, make sure to mark the field [Inclusion Participants] if your child requires additional assistance during the event. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie and competition as young athletes from all backgrounds come together to celebrate their love for triathlon sports in Nieder. The atmosphere is vibrant and supportive, making this not just a race but an inspiring community gathering that fosters growth, teamwork, and personal achievement among the youngest members of our athletic community.
