On July 3, 2026, the picturesque town of Wielemer Viertele will host its annual running festival with two distinct events catering to both runners and walkers. The evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with a 10km race that traverses hilly terrain, offering participants an engaging mix of asphalt roads and shaded forest paths. Runners will complete the course twice for a total distance of 20 kilometers.
Simultaneously, there's a 5km run designed to be equally challenging yet enjoyable, featuring one lap around the same varied landscape as its longer counterpart. For those preferring a more leisurely pace, a walking event covering the same 5km route is also available.
