18th Annual Southern Magnolia 100

About the Event

The Gulf Coast Bicycle Club (GCBC) is thrilled to present the 18th Annual Southern Magnolia 100, their flagship cycling event of the year. This year’s edition promises an enriching experience for cyclists and a meaningful contribution to community welfare through its partnership with Extra Table, a charitable organization dedicated to feeding Mississippi's hungry.
Registration starts early on July 19, offering participants the chance to secure one of the first 100 spots at discounted rates between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Early registrants will not only enjoy lower fees but also an exclusive opportunity to win fantastic prizes through a special drawing.
The event features four distinct routes catering to various skill levels:
- 27 Mile Route: A scenic and manageable distance for beginners.
- 44 Mile Route: Ideal for intermediate cyclists looking for a challenge.
- 66 Mile Route: Perfect for those seeking an extended ride with stunning vistas along the way.
- 100 Mile Route (8 Hour Time Limit): An epic journey that tests endurance, featuring strategic rest stops and support.
All routes begin at Snow Boogers located on King Bee Road in Perkinston. Cyclists will experience a variety of terrains including rural roads, scenic country lanes, and challenging hills as they pedal through the picturesque Mississippi countryside.
Participants are encouraged to register by September 19th to avoid missing out on early bird discounts and exclusive prizes such as:
- A $200 gift certificate from Gulf Coast Aesthetic Center.
- The ZO Skin Health Daily Skincare Program valued at over $120.
- An energy-packed Monster Ultra Wild Passion Energy Pack with a retail value of approximately $65.
- A Premium Tequila Celebration Basket, worth around $165.
Race day will see riders lining up according to their pace and route distance. Cyclists are advised to download the confirmed routes from Ride With GPS before race day for optimal navigation during the event. Early packet pickup is available on Saturday at Snow Boogers starting at 6:00 AM, or participants can check in between 6:00-7:30 am Sunday morning.
All riders will receive a commemorative Southern Magnolia 100 shirt and route profile sticker upon registration. Post-event, there are complimentary massages by Blue Cliff College’s massage therapy students to help soothe tired muscles after the long rides.
The event also includes generous support from local businesses such as Big Level Grocery for meal vouchers and Snow Boogers providing tasty treats at rest stops along each course.
Join GCBC in making a difference while enjoying an unforgettable cycling adventure. See you there!
