Running enthusiasts, we are thrilled to announce the 19th edition of the Forest and Heath Run scheduled for October 3, 2026. The organizing team is eagerly anticipating another successful year filled with excitement and community spirit. Registration opens on July 4, 2026, at midnight, offering participants a variety of distances to choose from: - A 10 km run starting at 2:00 PM (8.00 Euro per participant), open to children aged ten years or older. - A 6 km run commencing shortly after the 10 km race at 2:10 PM, also priced at 8.00 Euro and welcoming runners as young as six. - For those who prefer a leisurely stroll through nature, there's a 6 km walk starting simultaneously with the 6 km run. - A special event for younger participants is the 3 km kids' race at 2:20 PM (3.00 Euro per participant). - The Bambinilauf kicks off early at 1:30 PM and is free of charge. Participants who register by September 25, 2026, via my.race|result will receive a personalized race number, except for those in the children's events. Additional details can be found on the TSV Kremperheide website or through raceresult.com. The Forest and Heath Run is an informal event without official timing but offers scenic routes that wind through the heathland of Nordoer Binnendünen along well-maintained forest paths. Refreshment stations are set up for participants on both 6 km and 10 km courses, providing water as well as a delightful treat – champagne and chocolate. Upon crossing the finish line, all runners will receive a medal, while race results can be accessed online through my.raceresult.com where you can also print your participation certificate. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions, but refunds are not provided for no-shows. Organizers advise participants to review the terms and conditions on TSV Kremperheide’s official website. At the venue, runners will find changing rooms and showers available in the newly built Sportlerheim, ensuring a comfortable experience from start to finish.
