About the Event

A new trail race on Mt. Sanage, a local peak in the hills of Aichi about 30 minutes from central Nagoya. The roughly 23 km course starts and finishes at Bonote Fureai Hiroba and climbs about 1,160 m in total, passing through the forest of Sanage Shrine, the gorge of the Sanage Seven Waterfalls and the ridge of Nishinomiya.
Sections of forest road and pavement are mixed in between the trail stretches, making the route approachable for beginners. Aid stations serve local Toyota food, and the time limit is six hours. The course is provisional and may change. Categories are split by women and men (junior high school age and up) and by early and general entry.
