About the Event

Join the second edition of "Bieg DLA JAJ" (Run for Eggs) on November 22, 2026, an initiative by Głos Wielkopolski aimed at raising awareness about male cancer prevention and treatment. The event is organized in collaboration with the Wielkopolskie Centrum Onkologii to promote health education.
Participants can choose from three race distances: a main run of 5.4 kilometers for runners aged 18 and over, a family-friendly march-run of 2.5 kilometers open to all ages, and shorter races designed specifically for younger participants—400 meters for children aged 6-7 years old, another 400-meter race for those aged 8-9, and an 800-meter event for kids between the ages of 10-12.
The main venue is located on Wiankowej Street near Malta Lake, where a bustling Race Village will host numerous activities and partner booths. At the finish line, all runners are guaranteed to receive commemorative medals.
Competitors in the 5.4-kilometer race can vie for cash prizes and vouchers from sporting goods stores. The top three male and female overall winners each take home awards of PLN 500, PLN 300, and PLN 200 respectively. Additionally, there are separate categories within age groups offering smaller prize amounts to the first three finishers in those divisions.
Teams interested in competing for corporate honors can register their members under a special Corporate Classification category. This event promises not only competitive racing but also an engaging atmosphere with community support and awareness-raising activities.
