About the Event

On October 11, 2026, the Corrida da Infantaria takes place in Curitiba-PR, starting at 6:30 AM. This race offers three distances—5km, 10km, and 20km—for both men and women across various age categories. Participants will gather on Rua Panama near number 348 in the Bacacheri district for a competitive morning event.
The atmosphere is electric as runners of all ages line up to tackle the challenging terrain that includes hills and winding streets typical of Curitiba's urban landscape. The race begins with an enthusiastic start, encouraging athletes to push their limits while enjoying the vibrant city backdrop.
All finishers receive a special participation medal, adding a sense of accomplishment for everyone who crosses the finish line. For top performers in each distance category—20km and 10km—the event offers cash prizes ranging from R$500 to R$100 for first through fifth place respectively. Additionally, there are trophies awarded for age group winners.
The Corrida da Infantaria is not just a race but an opportunity for runners to experience the energy of Curitiba and compete in its historic streets on this dedicated day.
