About the Event

Welcome to the 20th Student Triathlon at Waldbad Hilden on September 12, 2026. Registration opens on March 1, 2026, and closes on September 11, 2026, or until capacity is reached by 10 PM that day.
This event welcomes all children and young people born in the year 2009 and earlier to take part in a fun-filled triathlon. In addition to the main competition, we offer a "Fun Relay" for families of all ages who can join together on this special course designed specifically for enjoyment and camaraderie.
Participants will compete across various age categories with distances tailored to ensure that even newcomers find them manageable while still presenting an engaging challenge. The race includes a city championship title for Hilden residents, adding another layer of competition and excitement.
The setting at Waldbad Hilden provides a scenic backdrop where athletes can enjoy the natural beauty of the area as they swim in the lake, bike through picturesque trails, and run along well-maintained paths. Spectators are encouraged to cheer on participants from start to finish, creating an atmosphere that is both supportive and energizing.
