On October 10, 2026, Mercer County Park will host the 14th Annual Jersey's Run/Walk for Recovery at its picturesque West Picnic Area. This year’s event aims to raise $50,000 in support of Recovery Advocates of America’s mission to help individuals recover from substance use disorders and promote awareness among New Jersey high school students. Located along the serene West-Rodgers Road in West Windsor, Mercer County Park offers a scenic backdrop for runners and walkers alike. The 5K course winds through lush greenery and tranquil trails, providing participants with an uplifting atmosphere as they contribute to a meaningful cause. Recovery Advocates of America has been instrumental in assisting over 1,000 individuals on their path to recovery throughout the past year. Their comprehensive services include direct outreach, harm reduction strategies, treatment placement assistance, transportation support, housing scholarships, and essential personal care provisions such as clothing, hygiene products, and haircuts. By participating or sponsoring this event, you will be joining a community dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of those affected by substance use disorders. West Windsor is a township in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Located at the cross-roads between the Delaware Valley region to the southwest and the Raritan Valley region to the northeast, the township is considered to be an outer-ring suburb of New York City in the New York metropolitan area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 29,518, its highest decennial count ever and an increase of 2,353 (+8.7%) from the 27,165 recorded at the 2010 census, which in turn reflected an increase of 5,258 (+24.0%) from the 21,907 counted in the 2000 census.
