2026 Abas Auto Stony Mountain Run

Experience the vibrant community spirit of the 2026 Stony Mountain Run on August 22nd as it returns with its familiar yet exciting race offerings. This year, runners can choose from three distances: a leisurely 2.5-kilometer run/walk, a spirited 5-kilometer race, and a challenging 10-kilometer journey through the scenic trails of Stony Mountain.
Participating in this event means joining not just a race but an integral part of the MRA Classic Run Series - 2.5k & 5K, as well as the MATR Run series. This year marks another milestone for runners who are eager to test their endurance and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds them.
The Stony Mountain Run is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to contribute to important community projects. This year’s lineup includes four key events: the first race was held on June 7th at the annual Duck & Run event in a lively Sunday atmosphere, followed by the Stonewall Quarry Run on July 19th. The Islendingadagurinn event took place in the picturesque setting of Gimli on August 2nd.
Completing all four events will earn participants a complete medal set, making this not just an individual challenge but also a rewarding journey for those who wish to experience each race and community celebration fully.
