2026 Beachside Runningworks Festival

The Beachside Runningworks Festival is set against the stunning backdrop of Port Kennedy's Boat Launching Facility, offering runners an unforgettable coastal experience. This annual gathering features diverse race options to cater to all levels and ages, including a marathon, half marathon, 10k run, and a dedicated 2.5k kids' event.
The festival kicks off early on September 20, 2026, with the marathon starting at 7:30 AM, followed by the half marathon at 7:45 AM, and the 10k race beginning promptly at 7:50 AM. The fun continues for younger participants when the kids' run starts at 9:00 AM.
All runners will enjoy a well-timed event with strict cut-off times of six hours to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment. Upon crossing the finish line, marathon, half-marathon, and 10k competitors receive commemorative medals, while children participating in the kids' run are awarded special Beachside wristbands.
The race day experience is enhanced by live results timing available on-site, allowing participants to track their progress throughout the event. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition for all runners.

However, race registrations may be transferred to another participant or redirected towards entry into the Canning River Runningworks Festival scheduled for March 14, 2027, with a $19 administration fee applicable in such cases.
