Experience the Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee, an exhilarating adventure that spans six days through two stunning state parks. Starting September 11 at David Crockett State Park, this ride offers multiple routes each day to cater to all skill levels and goals—from a leisurely 25 miles for beginners to challenging 100-mile journeys for seasoned cyclists. As you pedal your way across Tennessee’s picturesque landscapes, you'll be supported by dedicated Tennessee Park Rangers and volunteers. Expect fully stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles along the route with essentials like water, Gatorade, fresh fruit, nutritious snacks, restrooms, and friendly faces to keep spirits high. Upon returning each evening to your basecamp, enjoy a variety of engaging activities including ranger-led programs, yoga sessions, live music performances, and tastings. From Saturday through Wednesday, breakfast and dinner are provided; on Thursday, you'll savor a final morning meal before concluding the ride. This event offers flexible participation options: join for all six days, commit to just three mornings or afternoons, attend only the weekend adventure, or even participate in a single day’s route. Detailed registration information is available online, allowing you to choose the perfect fit based on your schedule and riding preferences. For those who prefer not to ride but still wish to enjoy the experience, non-riders can register for afternoon and evening activities, meals, and daily excursions. This inclusive approach ensures everyone gets a taste of what this unique event has to offer. All proceeds from the Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee support vital initiatives such as the Cumberland Trail State Scenic Trail, Tennessee Park Rangers Association, David Crockett State Park, Cedars of Lebanon State Park, and The Friends of the Cumberland Trail. Your participation not only enhances your adventure but also contributes positively to these important conservation efforts.
