On Sunday, October 11th, 2026, runners from around New England will gather at Florian Hall in Dorchester for the 44th Annual Boston Firefighters 10K Road Race. This beloved community event celebrates fitness and camaraderie while raising funds to support the brave men and women of the Boston Fire Department. The race starts promptly at 9:00 AM, with a challenging yet scenic course that winds through Dorchester’s historic streets. Participants will experience firsthand why this race is cherished by runners for its unique blend of athleticism and community spirit. The route features diverse terrain, offering both flat stretches and gentle inclines that test endurance while showcasing the vibrant neighborhoods of Boston. Registration includes a commemorative medal to mark your achievement, as well as a runner’s shirt (available only until Tuesday, October 1st). Runners aged 21 and over will also enjoy complimentary beer at the finish line. Additionally, participants have the option to support the Boston Fire Department Relief Fund by adding a special edition hoodie for just $50 during registration.
