Experience the breathtaking beauty of Brown County during the 2026 Brown County Epic Mountain Bike Festival, September 25–27. This non-profit grassroots event is brought to you by Brown County Mountain Biking, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the area's beloved trails. Set amidst the vibrant autumn colors, this festival offers a unique blend of adventure and community. From Saturday morning until late into the night, riders can explore miles of flowing singletrack through the woods. The Epic Ride on September 26 presents route options for all skill levels—ranging from 26 to 72 miles with full SAG support. The trails at Brown County State Park are a testament to volunteer effort and commitment. This event directly supports these efforts, ensuring that riders can enjoy pristine conditions year after year. Food trucks will be on site Friday and Saturday nights, offering delicious local cuisine. Live music performances add to the festive atmosphere each evening. Vendors and demo bikes return in 2026, providing a chance for gear enthusiasts to test new equipment or simply socialize with fellow riders. For those looking for an unforgettable experience, festival games and prizes await alongside two beer tickets and one food ticket per rider. Aid stations are available throughout the routes, stocked with essential supplies like food, drinks, and basic bike support. Tent camping is available by the pool on Friday and Saturday nights (additional fee of $10), while limited RV parking is also offered for an extra cost ($75). The event kicks off with a Friday Night Ride and continues into Saturday breakfast at Rally Campground or lunch at Crooked Creek, depending on your chosen route. Over $15, 000 in raffle prizes are up for grabs. Routes will be posted on Trailforks but not fully marked; riders must download GPS routes or print maps beforehand to ensure a smooth ride experience. The Long Route includes sections of the Hoosier National Forest and requires carrying a trail pass available at the vendor village. Registration by August 31 guarantees you a t-shirt, with additional perks like access to festival games, live music, and more. All proceeds benefit Brown County Mountain Biking—directly supporting your favorite trails! The event schedule will be posted closer to the date for your convenience. Remember, this is not a race but an opportunity to ride in beautiful woods with friends at any pace you choose. Fires must be contained in elevated fire pits, and riders should remain respectful of other park users while navigating public roads or campgrounds. Horse trails are open; please yield when encountering horseback riders for safe passage. Enjoy the good vibes and contribute positively to trail maintenance!

About Nashville
Learn more about the host city, Nashville.
Nashville is the capital of the American state of Tennessee. With 716,000 residents in 2022, it is the state's largest city. Nashville is sometimes called the "Country Music Capital of the World" or more often "Music City, USA"; however, Nashville has done much to escape its country music image and become a regional center of culture and commerce. In fact, Dell, Nissan, and Amazon have all moved some operations to or near the city. The music is various; major rap artists and rock bands claim Nashville as their hometown, and the city is also the epicenter of the contemporary Christian music industry. Nashville has been the home of the world-famous Grand Ole Opry since 1925. Nashville also has a great bar scene. If you like to drink, you can go "Honky-tonking," also known as bar-hopping. This is the act of visiting and drinking at multiple bars in one evening or day.
