Join us on December 12, 2026, for the eighth edition of the Christmas City Santa Run, an exciting event that supports The Launch Pad Teen Center. This festive race features three distances: a challenging 10k, a fun-filled 5k, and a kid-friendly one-mile Rudolph Run along the scenic Brownlow Trail. Participants in the 10k and 5k will receive a Santa hat and beard as part of their registration package, encouraging everyone to embrace the holiday spirit by running in full Santa gear. Those who complete the shorter one-mile fun run for children can collect antlers and red noses to add to the festive atmosphere. At the finish line, runners from all categories will be greeted with cookies, hot cider, and cocoa. The race course is dotted with Christmas surprises designed to keep participants entertained throughout their journey. The Brownlow Trail offers a mix of rolling hills and scenic turns that provide both challenge and beauty for runners. While it's not recommended for strollers due to the terrain, families are encouraged to explore the trail beforehand if they're planning to bring young children. Registration includes access to an unofficial timing system with results posted after the event concludes at noon. The top male and female finishers in each distance race will receive ugly sweaters as prizes, while special awards go to 1st and 2nd place runners aged 11 years or younger for the one-mile Rudolph Run. All proceeds from this year's Santa Run benefit local teens through programs offered by The Launch Pad Teen Center. Early registration offers discounts with children under six running free of charge and those between seven and eighteen paying just $10. Day-of-event registration closes at 9:15 AM, so be sure to sign up in advance. Bring your friends and family for a day full of fun and community spirit as we come together to support young people in our city this holiday season.
