2026 CRCA Development Series (Race 8)

About the Event

Welcome to the upcoming race organized by Century Road Club Association as part of their 2026 season. This exciting event is set for May 30, 2026, with an early start at 5:30 AM. Participants are advised to arrive and line up no later than five to ten minutes before the designated time.
The race course will feature a combination of four and a half laps (for women’s development) and five and a half laps (for men’s development), winding through scenic trails that offer both challenge and beauty. The finish line is marked at W91, ensuring clear visibility for all racers as they complete their journey.
For new participants, the race organizers provide valuable assistance to ease your entry into competitive cycling. You can pick up a paper race number from the boat house parking lot at least 15 minutes before the start. After completing your first skills session, you will receive a cloth number that will be used for the entire season.
CRCA membership is included with development registration, making it an inclusive option for both seasoned and new riders. If you are returning after a long winter or new to bike racing altogether, CRCA offers free skills sessions and coaching. The club emphasizes respect towards fellow racers, officials, park users, and the public. Riders should avoid riding in designated recreational lanes, not ride backwards on the drive, stay off footpaths, and refrain from public urination.
CRCA offers various membership options to fit different schedules and budgets, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. Whether you are a regular or making your debut, this race promises an engaging experience with clear rules designed for safety and enjoyment.
