Curling Experience with Loggerhead Curling Club - Sunday, February 22nd at 4pm OR 6pm at SkateZone

Join us for a fun and engaging introduction to curling with the Loggerhead Curling Club! Whether you're new to the sport or just looking to try something different, this open house event is a great opportunity to learn the basics and experience the game on the ice.

Bring your friends and family (ages 16 and up) for a memorable night of fun and friendly competition as you try your hand at an Olympic Winter sport, right here in Florida! If you enjoy it, you can join our Beginner League, with training provided by our experienced members.

How much is it?

Registration is FREE if you sign up online before the event. Registration at the door is $5.

What should I wear?

Shoes: No raised heels or flip-flops. Running shoes work best, but be sure the soles are clean to avoid slipping.
Pants: Choose pants that allow for easy movement, as curling requires flexibility. Avoid jeans, as they can leave cotton on the ice and restrict movement.
Layers: Ice rinks can be cold, so we recommend dressing in layers. A light jacket, gloves, and thick socks will help keep you comfortable throughout the session.

About Lake Worth

Lake Worth Beach, previously named Lake Worth, is a city in east-central Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, located about 63 miles (101 km) north of Miami. The city's name is derived from the body of water along its eastern border known as the Lake Worth Lagoon, which was named for General William J. Worth, who led United States Army forces during the last part of the Second Seminole War. Lake Worth Beach is situated south of West Palm Beach, southeast of Lake Clarke Shores, east of Palm Springs, and north of Lantana, while a small section of the city also partitions the town of Palm Beach.
