The 55th DALMAC (Dick Allen Lansing to Mackinaw) Bicycle Tour beckons cyclists from across the globe to experience Michigan's breathtaking landscapes and rich history. Departing on September 6, 2026, from Michigan State University in East Lansing, this fully supported tour offers routes that wind through picturesque countryside and charming small towns before concluding at historic Mackinaw City. Participants can choose among several routes: one starting from the university campus, another beginning in Gladwin, a third from Grayling, and yet another from Waters. Each route presents its own unique challenges and scenic views, ensuring an adventure tailored to every cyclist's skill level. Highlights include rolling hills that offer both thrilling descents and invigorating ascents, as well as stunning vistas of Lake Michigan and the iconic Mackinac Bridge. The tour promises a feast for the senses with ample opportunities to savor local delicacies such as freshly baked cookies, ice cream, and homemade pies along the way. En route, cyclists will also have access to various breweries that offer refreshing beverages after long days on the road.
