About the Event

Fountain Hills Community Services invites you to participate in the highly anticipated 36th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run & Fitness Walk. Set for November 26, this festive morning race takes runners and walkers on a scenic loop around the iconic fountain at Fountain Park. Whether you're an avid runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, there's something for everyone with both timed run options and a casual fitness walk available.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the holiday spirit by dressing up in creative Thanksgiving-themed costumes; prizes will be awarded during the post-race Costume Contest. Registration includes a traditional long-sleeved t-shirt commemorating this year’s event.
The race begins promptly at 7:15 am on Avenue of the Fountains, located just east of Verde River Drive. Join us for an early morning celebration that blends fitness and fun in one of Arizona's most picturesque settings.
Fountain Hills Community Services looks forward to welcoming runners from across the valley who come together each year to enjoy this beloved Thanksgiving tradition.
