The Georgia TT Endurance Challenge is set for September 12-13, 2026, marking its second edition following the successful inaugural year of 2025. This race joins five other ultra-cycling events on the growing World UltraCycling Association (WUCA) calendar and will host the prestigious WUCA - 6-hour North American Championship. Participants can expect a serene route through South Georgia’s countryside, featuring virtually flat roads that offer low traffic conditions throughout most of the day. The main course is a 29-mile loop starting from New Ebenezer Retreat Center, winding its way to Clyo and back. For those opting for longer distances, there's also an additional 6-mile night loop on Ebenezer Road near the retreat center. The event caters to various skill levels with four primary categories: 100-mile (Century), 6-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour challenges. Each category is further divided into gender groups, age brackets from five years up, bike types, drafting or non-drafting options, solo riders, and teams of two to eight. Whether you're a seasoned racer or new to ultra-cycling, there's something for everyone. The New Ebenezer Retreat Center serves as the hub of this event, located at 2887 Ebenezer Rd, Rincon, GA 31326. The venue offers ample parking and portable toilets near the crew area, ensuring easy access to amenities during your ride. For those needing a place to rest, sleeping accommodations can be booked in advance through the race director. Registration for this event will close on September 11, with packet pickup available from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday, September 11th, and again at the start line from 5:30 am to 6:30 am on Saturday morning. A unique option is also offered—participants can have their packets mailed for a small fee. The starting time is set for 7 am sharp, with all riders gathering to receive RFID chips before heading out together. The course will see cyclists riding the main loop until it gets dark or they complete their event duration, switching over to the shorter night loop when needed. This format ensures that every rider can push themselves as far as possible within their allotted time. Awards ceremonies will take place immediately after each event, typically within 15-30 minutes of a participant's finish line crossing, ensuring timely recognition for all participants’ efforts.
