2026 Greylock Go Around 50K Mountain Bike Fundraiser

Experience the thrill of cycling through Massachusetts’s highest peak at the 2026 Greylock Go Around 50K, an exhilarating mountain bike fundraiser for Thunderbolt Ski Runners. The race is set on Saturday, October 3, 2025, with a registration fee of $75 for non-members and $50 for members.
Race participants are encouraged to start their journey at Greylock Glen Outdoor Center by signing in between 7:30am and 8:30am. The race will kick off promptly at 9:00am. A mountain bike is a necessity, as the course demands skillful navigation through diverse terrain. Helmets must be properly fitted for safety, while basic toolkits (including multitools, tubes, pumps, or CO2 inflators) are recommended to handle any on-course challenges.
Riders can expect three well-stocked aid stations along the 31-mile/50K route, providing essential food and hydration. Limited technical support is available at these points to assist with any minor issues that may arise during the race. The course features a mix of terrains: approximately 20% paved roads, 50% forested paths and double tracks, and 30% single track sections.
The climb totals an impressive 4,100 feet, testing both endurance and skill on this challenging yet rewarding route. With a moving time estimated between 3.5 to 5.5 hours, participants will traverse through breathtaking landscapes, offering stunning views of the surrounding area as they make their way up Mount Greylock.
Proceeds from the event support ongoing trail development and stewardship efforts around Mt. Greylock, including active grants for trail building projects that benefit both riders and nature enthusiasts alike.
