Lazy 2K: A Fun-Filled Event Benefiting NEPA Cancer Wellness Center

Join us for the Fourth Annual Lazy 2K at Rich & Charlotte’s on a warm summer Sunday. This event is designed for those who prefer leisurely strolls over rigorous races and love to unwind with friends and beer. The race kicks off at 11 am, offering participants two hydration stations along the way where they can enjoy complimentary beer tastings.
The day promises an afternoon filled with live music, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere as you make your way through the scenic course. Upon crossing the finish line, head straight to Captain’s for the after party starting at noon. Here, revelers will find more entertainment options, including light fare, a basket raffle, 50/50 draw, and access to a cash bar.
This year's Lazy 2K introduces an exciting new addition: BAR ROOM OLYMPICS! The first 150 race participants have the chance to sign up for competitive games like Darts, Shuffleboard Bowling, Corn Hole, Curling (yes, THE Curling), and Yahtzee with two-foot inflatable dice. Winners will receive trophies, medals, free beer, and bragging rights.
Registration is available exclusively online until all slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fees include:
- Main Event: $35 for the race, t-shirt, swag bag, and after party ticket.
- Bar Room Olympics Add-On: Additional $10 per participant (for eligible “race” registrants only).
- T-Shirt Only: $20
- After Party Ticket Only: $10
Remember to bring a valid ID as this is a 21+ event. For the convenience of attendees, we strongly recommend using Uber, Lyft, or taxis for transportation. Shuttle service will be available from Captain’s to the starting line.
