Join us for the most festive 5K run of the year in Toronto, serving as the official kickoff to The Original Santa Claus Parade. Set to take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, this unique race offers runners a one-of-a-kind experience along the parade route, with over half a million spectators cheering you every step of the way. The event starts just before the grand procession and winds through Toronto's iconic streets until reaching the finish line at Wellington Street, east of Yonge. Participants will enjoy the holiday atmosphere as they run past colorful floats, live music performances, and enthusiastic crowds lining the route. The race is designed for runners aged 8 and up; those under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration for this popular event caps out at a total of 2,500 participants, so secure your spot early to avoid disappointment. Each runner will receive a custom winter hat and finisher medal upon completion. Entry fees are non-refundable but can be transferred through the Race Roster platform until November 10th. Please note that strollers, roller blades, and pets are not allowed on this course for safety reasons. The race has a strict time limit of one hour and thirty minutes to ensure everyone enjoys the festivities without delay. You will receive an email containing your bib number and kit pick-up details by Thursday before race day.
