2026 Hope in Motion presented by Minnesota Oncology

The 12th annual Hope in Motion presented by Minnesota Oncology takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM CDT at Veterans Park, 6335 Portland Avenue in Richfield, Minnesota, USA. This 5k & Family Walk event benefits Angel Foundation, celebrating National Cancer Survivors Day with a 5K run, 1-mile family walk, kids dash, and cancer survivor celebration.

Event Logistics and Participant Information:

• Event Schedule: 7:00-8:00 AM – Arrival and Set Up; 8:00 AM – Registration and Health Fair Open; 9:00 AM – Welcome Program; 9:15 AM – Kids Dash; 9:30 AM – 5K and 1-Mile Start (1-mile walkers line up behind 5K participants); 10:00 AM – Snacks, Entertainment, Music, and More; 11:00 AM – Event Concludes.
• Cancer Survivor & Current Treatment Participants: All survivors and current cancer treatment participants should contact Aleah at [email protected] to receive a discount code for free event registration.
• Children Under 12: Free admission (does not include a shirt) using promo code KIDSFREE.
• T-Shirts: To receive a Hope in Motion t-shirt, participants must submit a registration fee. Registrations after May 29 cannot guarantee an event t-shirt.

• Fundraising: Event raised $1,746.09 toward a $60,000 goal (3% raised). 159 participants currently registered. Top teams include Ninja Tigers, MoJo 🩷, and Barker. Top fundraisers include Mary Wells ($1,316.53 raised).

• Family-Friendly: 5K run, 1-mile family walk, and kids dash ensure activities for all ages and abilities. Children under 12 attend at no cost.
• Health Fair: A health fair is open from 8:00 AM, offering resources, information, and wellness activities.
