Experience the rugged beauty of Wichita Falls at the HHH Endurance Ride presented by the Wichita Falls Bicycling Club on August 29, 2026. The adventure begins early with a start line at 104 Scott Ave at approximately 7:05 AM. Riders will line up according to distance and pace groups along Scott Avenue from Second Street to Tenth Street. Throughout the ride, you'll find rest stops every ten miles where you can refuel on snacks, Superior Electrolytes, water, and medical assistance. Helmets are mandatory, so ensure yours is CPSC approved before setting off. Starting early or outside the designated line poses significant safety risks for all participants, including yourself. When not cycling, enjoy a hearty spaghetti dinner hosted by Chef at MPEC. Tickets can be reserved in advance for $16 per meal and purchased on-site for $18. For those who prefer to start their day right with breakfast, MPEC will serve up fresh fruit salad, fluffy scrambled eggs, country fried potatoes, biscuits & homestyle gravy, coffee cake, and orange juice from 5 AM until 8 AM. Advance reservations cost $16 per person; tickets can also be bought on-site for the same price. Timing is handled by RunFarUSA with chip timing available at no extra charge to all advance registrants. Results will be posted online in order of finish across various distance and age categories, ensuring transparency throughout the event. All routes receive start and finish splits using these disposable chips; there's no need to return them after use. For a taste of adventure beyond cycling, mark your calendar for the Wee-Chi-Tah DIRT AND GRAVEL EVENTS on the same weekend. Mountain bike races and trail runs kick off at J.S. Bridwell Ag Center on Friday morning with events starting at 8 AM for Novice, Junior, Clydesdale categories; Cat 1, 2, Single Speed, and E-Bike classes follow at 10 AM. Saturday brings two courses of Gravel Grinds from the Wichita Falls Brewery. These are designed to cater to all skill levels, offering a unique challenge on dirt and gravel paths. On Sunday, lace up for either the Long Trail Run (approximately 12 miles) or the 10K run, both starting at 7 AM. For those seeking an ultimate test of endurance, the Chupacabra combines a 100-mile ride with a 42-mile Gravel Grind. The Triple Threat Challenge offers participants three days of varied activities: a mountain bike race on Friday, followed by a 100-mile endurance ride and a long trail run on Sunday. Safety remains paramount as the event adheres to CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of communicable diseases. By participating, you agree to these terms and acknowledge all associated risks. Whether it's your first time or an annual tradition, this weekend promises unforgettable experiences amidst Wichita Falls' scenic landscapes.

About Wichita Falls
Learn more about the host city, Wichita Falls.
Wichita Falls is a town in the North Central Plains of Texas, named for Wichita Indians who lived near waterfalls on what is now the Wichita River. In 1882, Fort Worth and Denver Railroad brought the first train to the area, establishing the town as an agricultural and trade center. The oil boom in the early 1900s made city headquarters for north Texas petroleum production, service and manufacturing. The city is the seat for Wichita County and a leading gateway to Texas on I-44. It's a major trade and industrial center with economy based on Sheppard Air Force Base, oil processing and other varied manufacturing.
