2026 KINCARDINE 7K TRAIL CHALLENGE #7

Registration opens on April 1, 2026, marking the start of preparations for The Kincardine 7K Trail Challenge. This beloved annual community race invites runners and walkers from all walks of life to explore the natural beauty of Kincardine, Ontario. Spanning a picturesque 7-kilometre journey through diverse landscapes, participants will traverse forested paths, riverside sections, and park trails.
The race begins and concludes at Station Beach, offering breathtaking views as you make your way along the course. Highlights include traversing the Pink, Green, Red, and Geddes Park trails, which are known for their hills, bridges, and panoramic vistas of Lake Huron. The terrain is designed to provide a moderately challenging yet rewarding experience.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 19th, with a race start at 10:00 a.m., ensuring participants have ample time to warm up and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Chip timing will be used for precise results, making it easy to track personal bests or compare performances against others.
With room for approximately 300 competitors, The Kincardine 7K Trail Challenge caters to both seasoned athletes and newcomers alike. West Shore Clothing and Surf Shoppe serves as the main sponsor, offering prizes not only to top finishers in all age categories but also to children under 12 years of age.
