2026 Kirkland Turkey Trot

On November 15th, the 2026 Kirkland Turkey Trot will once again take over downtown Kirkland for its beloved annual run. This popular race welcomes runners from all backgrounds with four distinct distance options: two full 10K routes—one adult and one student—and a pair of 5K paths designed specifically for adults and students alike.
The event kicks off at Juanita Bay Park, situated in the heart of Kirkland’s downtown area. Early November mornings bring crisp conditions that invigorate runners as they embark on their journey through this picturesque park. Highlights include the historic Market Street Bridge, which acts not only as a scenic landmark but also marks the halfway point for 10K participants, offering stunning views over Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline.
For those who prefer shorter distances, the 5K courses provide equally captivating scenery, winding through Juanita Bay Park's well-maintained paths before crossing Market Street Bridge. The route then returns to the starting point via the same bridge after both 10K races conclude, ensuring a seamless experience for all participants.
Weather conditions on race day are expected to be comfortable with temperatures around 6.2°C and high humidity at 88%, though a gentle northwest breeze ensures that runners will face manageable weather. Precipitation is not anticipated, guaranteeing clear skies and pleasant running conditions throughout the event.

Early bird registration offers competitive rates of $50.67 for adult 10K and student participants, while the 5K distances cost slightly less at $34.52 (students) and $50.67 (adults). Race bibs will be distributed from Moss Bay Hall in downtown Kirkland starting at 7:30 AM on the day of the race, and participants should bring their confirmation emails or printed registration details for easy pickup. The event has age requirements; runners must be at least 16 years old to participate in the full or half 10K distances and should wear appropriate running gear.
