About the Event

The race is a 5K run/walk beginning and ending on the Lakeside High School track and running through local neighborhoods! This race is a Peachtree race qualifier!

All proceeds of the Viking 5K will support the Lakeside H.S. Foundation programs to enhance education, athletics and the arts at Lakeside High School.

Race Date: 8AM – Saturday, October 31, 2026

Race Day Details

Registration/packet pickup begins at 7:00 a.m. on the track.
Warm up exercises at 7:45am
Race start time - 8 a.m.
The course will be open 1 hour 40 minutes. That is 14 min 30 sec pace per mile.
