Experience the Hills of Norman: A Community Cycling Event with a Heart
For nearly two decades, the Bicycle League of Norman has been at the forefront of supporting children with developmental disabilities through its annual cycling event. This year marks an even greater commitment—50% of the proceeds will support J.D. McCarty’s Camp ClapHans summer camp, while the other 50% will fund a new bicycle program for underprivileged children in Norman.
The Norman Conquest is one of Oklahoma's longest-running cycling events, attracting hundreds of riders each year to navigate the scenic yet challenging hills of eastern Cleveland County. The route offers a perfect blend of beauty and challenge, with picturesque landscapes that showcase the natural charm of the region.
Beyond just the ride, this event fosters community spirit and inclusivity. Participants will not only enjoy the thrill of cycling through Norman's stunning countryside but also contribute to making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.
