The Streak Event 2026 promises an exhilarating adventure for cyclists of all levels. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, September 13, rain or shine, starting from Deer Creek High School’s Performing Arts Center located at 20795 N MacArthur Blvd in Edmond, Oklahoma. Participants can choose between three paved road routes: a 25-mile journey, a more challenging 40 miles, and the ambitious 62-mile route. For those seeking an adventurous mix of surfaces, there are also Groad (Gravel-Road) options available—offering both 25 and 50 miles. The event is designed to be enjoyed rather than raced; no times will be recorded or published. Riders should plan their pacing wisely as the course will close by 12:30 PM, beyond which SAG support will cease operation. Participants are advised to remain on the route at their own risk after this time. Safety and enjoyment go hand in hand, so a helmet is mandatory for all participants. Families with children under twelve are kindly requested not to use the open road courses. For young riders aged 12-17, an adult must accompany them during the event. Multiple rest stops will be strategically placed along the routes, particularly on the longer paved and Groad paths. These stops offer refreshments like drinks and snacks, as well as Porta-Toilets for convenience. SAG support vehicles will provide assistance to those who need it until 12:30 PM. Walk-in registration is available at Chicken n Pickle’s Fireside Room located at 8400 N Oklahoma Ave in Oklahoma City between 6:00 AM and 7:15 AM on the day of the event. T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 150 riders, while all participants will have a chance to enter the door prize raffle. The Streak Event 2026 is dedicated to supporting Helmets for Kids, an initiative that provides helmets to children who received bikes through the Salvation Army’s Buck$ for Bike$ program. Participants can explore routes via RideWithGPS and prepare for their cycling experience in this scenic setting of Oklahoma. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or new to long-distance rides, Streak Event 2026 offers a memorable day filled with camaraderie, natural beauty, and the thrill of open road cycling.
