The 2026 Pearl Moments · She Walks the Wild: North Lake Women's International Moonlit Race is set to take place on September 26, starting at 4 PM from Nine-Bend Path within Zhejiang’s Jiaxing Haiyan-North Lake. The event will welcome a total of 500 participants across various categories designed specifically for women and families.
The race features several distinct groups: the Full Moon Women's Group (15 kilometers with an elevation gain of 520 meters, limited to 100 runners), the Lunar Messenger Group (also covering 15 kilometers with a climb of 520 meters, accommodating 50 participants), and the Chang'e Women’s Group (a distance of 13.14 kilometers with an ascent of 520 meters for up to 200 women). Additionally, there is a Guardian Angel Group (matching the same course details as above but limited to 50 runners) and a Family Unity Group (a shorter route of 5.20 kilometers with a climb of 186 meters suitable for one adult and one child or two adults and one child).
Registration follows a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled; early bird discounts will be available to those who sign up by September 20.
The race begins as the sun sets, coinciding with the moon's rise – an ideal moment to witness the unique natural spectacle known locally as "Day and Moon Rise Together."
