About the Event

On October 11, 2026, the 45th edition of the Qihang Trail Training Race at Xiangshan Park will welcome runners from all over to explore the scenic trails and challenging terrain. This ITRA/UTMB qualifying event features a variety of distances tailored for both adults and young athletes.
The adult race is a 15-kilometer course designed for participants aged between 16 and 60 years old, offering an opportunity to challenge oneself in one of Beijing's most picturesque natural settings. The route winds through the lush forests and historic sites within Xiangshan Park, providing runners with breathtaking views at every turn.
For younger athletes, there are three race categories: a 15-kilometer course for youth aged between 8 and 15 years old; a shorter 9-kilometer option suitable for children ranging from 6 to 14 years of age; and the most accessible distance is a fun-filled 5-kilometer run open to kids aged 4 to 12. Each race day, participants will have the chance to collect one of twelve unique zodiac-themed medals as part of this year's special series.
Registration for all categories opens with early bird discounts available until September 28th, ensuring that spots are reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. It’s important to note that all young racers must be accompanied by an adult guardian throughout the event day.
