2027 Redbud Classic

About the Event

In the rolling hills of Nichols Hills, just an hour outside Oklahoma City, lies the 2027 Redbud Classic—a celebration of community spirit and natural beauty. This event spans multiple days from April 3 to April 4, offering runners and cyclists a unique experience that connects them with nature while honoring local traditions.
The race day in Nichols Hills is marked by early morning light filtering through the dense forest canopy, painting the landscape in warm hues as participants begin their journeys on April 3. The area's rolling hills provide not only breathtaking views but also varied terrain suitable for both beginners and seasoned athletes. As spring settles over the region with temperatures hovering around an average of 17°C during the day, runners can expect comfortable conditions that are perfect for a morning start.
The Redbud Classic has been running since its inception in 2005, serving as more than just a race but also as a testament to the community's spirit. Over the years, it has grown from modest beginnings with fewer participants to now welcoming hundreds of runners and cyclists each year who come together for this annual event that supports local charities.
